From [livejournal.com profile] jss1113. As usual, leave a comment here and I'll ask you five questions. Answer 'em in your Journal and then interview folks who leave you comments.

1. What's your favorite memory from college?

The summer that I worked at the college radio station as an intern with a good friend of mine. Show up for the 7 - 11 AM show, head over to the computer labs for an hour of Usenet and e-mail, and then at 12 go over to the local pub (Astros), to spend a couple of hours drinking Guiness and playing the Addams Family pinball game.

2. If you couldn't live here (the Boston area), where would you like to live?

Up until a few months ago, I would have said San Diego, followed by the San Jose area. However, after spending a week and something in the UK, I'd love to be able to live there.

3. Are you a city or country {boy | girl} at heart?

City boy. No question.

4. Describe your dream job.

Hurm. Either working IT at a major college or university (with a generous course auditing policy), or to go back to school and get a Masters or Ph D in computer science, and go to work doing work taking more advanced areas (like parallel computing, or genetic algorithms) and coming up with applications for them.

5. When and how did you realize that Nicole was "it"?

Summer of 2000 -- we'd gotten back together after about a year or so apart, and I spent a two week stint in California doing a testing and turn-up assignment for a new data center Genuity was installing, broken up by spending the in-between weekend back in Boston attending a wedding and a 50th anniversary party. I came home, did laundry, raced around, and then was back in Logan for a Sunday 8:30 AM flight, I was exhausted and jet lagged, and just happy to get to see her. I figured at that point, I should quit dragging my feet.

Y'know, while I loved Nicholas Cage in Leaving Las Vegas, he really can't act. This bogus southern accent in Con Air is just horrendous....

That's Nicolas (sic) Cage. I, for one, could hardly contain my excitement at the prospect of seeing "Matchstick Men", wherein cage plays a character with lots of little irritating tics, in a way that's somehow different than every other role he's ever played.

What with Pauly Shore and Carrot-Top not making movies any more, Cage is on the top of my "people who want to make me claw my eyes out" list.
