Got radioio80s on, and they're playing The Godfathers for me.

Well, somebody covering the Godfathers, but still. It's the thought that counts.

Is this what you suffer from?

Im sure I have got it, and was wondering if you had any tips of how to control it?

Cheers!

I've had it in the past. Some general tips:
  • Don't lie down/recline after eating.
  • Avoid more acidic foods (tomato sauce is a trigger for me).
  • Avoid carbonated beverages.
YMMV, but those helped me when I was having active symptoms. It's less of a problem for me now, but I try to eat far enough away from bedtime so that the first point doesn't apply, and the others are just things I keep my eye on now.

Thanks very much! The zantac seems to be working a treat..:)I work evenings so the not eating before going to bed thing will be a problem - but Im going to have to try it to stop the indigestion.

Cheers!

Yeah, when my work schedule was 12n-8p, I'd have to eat at work (6ish usually) and then intentionally not snack before going to bed at 12m or 1a or whatever.

And yet last night I had a late (8-10p) and huge dinner, then collapsed in bed by 12a, and had heartburn. Go figure. :)
