Despite spending an hour last night on my father-in-law's car battery charger, my car still refuses to start (or even turn over). Given that the hood's started to disintegrate in my hands as I opened and closed it, and the hood latch refused to catch the first 10 tries, it appears that the best path is to start seriously looking at new cars, and bite the bullet.
Feh.
I've enjoyed the past 7 years with no car payments, but I suppose that after getting 11 years out of my car, I have no real cause to complain.
