Friday morning asskickings

So the powers that be have started bringing us bagels for breakfast on Friday mornings, to encourage a little bit of a community spirit.

My boss has also contributed a chess set, as there are a few of us that play. So far, I'm 0 - 3 against him; I start out well, hem him in, and then seem to be frittering away both the initiative and the advantage in tactical precision. Part of it is my boss -- he plays a much more deliberative game then I, and I'm not adjusting my style to slow things down.

I'm also rusty as hell, especially at mid and end game.
