So yesterday I worked from home, because our boiler wasn't firing and we had to have a service company come out to look at it (quick summary: The automatic flue "valve" was stuck from too much buildup of crud that condensed out of the steam. Solution: Set it to always open, as the power vent pretty much does the same task that the valve was.). When I get in this morning, I realize that it's damn bright in my office, to the point where I can't see my laptop screen that well.
At which point I realize that someone's come into my office, and opened all the blinds.
After 30 minutes of fighting the blinds, I finally manage to get them all down (mangling two of them in the process), the light in my room is finally muted enough that I can see my screen. When my cow-orker shows up, in talking with him it turns out that he opened my office and put up the blinds so he could see the weather outside (it was a crappy, snow/rain/freezing rain day yesterday).
Grrr......
