Oh, so it's going to be one of those days

1. Wake up late, miss usual commuter train into work.


2. Slog through traffic to closest subway stop to make it in as close to 7 AM as possible for a data center walkthrough meeting


3. While on the subway, iPod locks up. Fortunately, after I got back to the office, this site showed up in Google, and one hard reset later it seems to be functioning again.


4. Show up at new data center for walkthrough, have to get buzzed in the front door because my badge doesn't work.


5. Get to data center only 20 mintues late, to find that nobody's there.


6. Go downstairs, grab coffee and pastry before heading into the office. Board subway, go 1 stop, only to have the train taken out of service, and have to get off to wait for next train.


7. Arrive at work, log into laptop so that it can spend the next 45 minutes finishing the massive update push which I (as a member of the IT group) get to participate in the pilot for.




Fortunately, I'm usually in the office at around 7 AM, so it's not like I got up extra early for the meeting, or anything.....
